3. If you have SSH access to a server outside the the restricted network, you could open an SSH tunnel to that server on a local port and use it as a proxy in your browser. The problem is that after the captive portal redirects, I'll have also a HTTPS redirect and Chrome remembers the certificate and to use only HTTPS. So I cannot use the same site twice (in a session). Chrome. Open the browser settings. Click"Show advanced settings..." In the advanced section scroll down to find"Languages". Click"Language and Input Settings".
